Candidate instructions
This task is long and has questions across two parts. Read this page properly. The clock starts when you press the button at the bottom, and it does not stop.
When you are communicating internally with our team, we value clarity, brevity, and reasoning transparency over formal or academic prose. We are less interested in the perfect answer than in seeing clearly described logic, well-stated uncertainties, and a strong knack for discerning which information is the highest priority.
Some aspects of this task are intentionally vague and require you to apply judgement. Where something is unclear, make a reasonable assumption and label it. You do not need to email us to ask.
Please do not share this task with anyone outside Evidence Action / 2AI. If you need a different format or an accommodation because of a disability, email careers@aiaccessinitiative.org before you begin, and we will sort it out.
